– As a professional swimmer I have always tried to inspire others to make good choices in health and training, especially since many people look up to their athlete role models. NOCCO has a great opportunity to share their experiences in sports and encourage more people to make exercise a part of their lifestyle. The engagement NOCCO has within swimming is something I find extra fun, and I am really excited about being a part of the team, says Therese Alshammar.
Altogether, Therese Alshammar has an impressive 73 international championship medals, making her the European swimmer with the most international championship medals. In 2011 Therese was awarded the Jerring prize for ”The Sports Achievement of 2010”. The same year she was also awarded the Swedish daily newspaper Svenska Dagbladet’s gold medal. In February 2012 she also received H.M. The Kings Medal for special merit. Therese also holds the world record in 50 m butterfly.
– Therese has been ground breaking in the field of her sport and is a true role model, not only within swimming but for all of Sweden’s athletic scene. She is a world champion that unifies strength, dedication and passion, making her an excellent ambassador for NOCCO. We are looking forward to all the exciting activations that are in the pipeline, says Louise Nobel, Marketing Manager for NOCCO.
