So, Jonas – what are your goals for this season?
My goal this year is to make my dream come true and win an NBA championship.
Do you have a certain routine or rituals before a game?
I always brush my teeth before getting to the arena. Before that, I have a pregame nap, at least one hour. I always get a lift in 90 minutes before the game and drink my NOCCO 30 minutes before game time!
What made you hooked on basketball?
My love for the game started early because of my parents who both played and just by watching them play growing up, I fell in love with the game.
What does a typical day look like for Jonas Jerebko?
If it’s not gameday I usually have a practice around 11, get to the gym a couple of hours early. Get a good lift in for about an hour and then shoot for 45 mins. Then practice. Afterwards, you get your “prehab” in and maybe stretch, ice, and get some treatment for the body.
What keeps you motivated in your training?
My motivation comes from always wanting to be the best. I hate to lose. And now I have my family and I do it for them. I want my family to be proud of the legacy that I’m going to leave behind. I want my daughters to be proud of their dad.
