NOCCO is available in markets all around the world. Our increasing brand presence and the fact that more and more consumers appreciate our products brings both opportunities and challenges in terms of sustainability. As such, we have divided our sustainability efforts into focus area, described here below.

INSPIRING AN ACTIVE LIFESTYLE

NOCCO was developed with active adults in mind and sports communities have been the cornerstone of its success ever since the first NOCCO was launched in 2014. Ever since, as more consumers fall in love with NOCCO, our possibility to influence and motivate beyond their consumption also grows. We have decided to use our voice and influence to inspire a healthy and active lifestyle.

We support a great number of truly inspiring personalities and events. Our ambassadors and partnerships are many and can be found in all our markets, not limited by sport or gender. We support world-class athletes and global championships as well as local clubs and friendly races. Whenever it is possible, we bring our athlete partners to public events and activities open for anyone to join. It is all about hard work and dedication, creating energy together. To exercise and make progress, no matter where you come from or what level you start at.

COMMUNITY WORKOUTS

These aren’t your average workout events. From massive NOCCO Training Days to local NOCCO AM Clubs, we inspire our community to sweat and thrive together. Tough sessions, cold cans, strong community – and the occasional surprise. This how we bring our community together offline and fuel the spirit of performance.

MINIMIZING OUR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

With a growing business comes an increasing responsibility to ensure that we minimize our environmental impact. Given the consequences of global warming, reducing carbon emissions across our value chain is the key focus of our sustainability efforts.

NOCCO’s cans are 100 percent recycable. We have made great progress by reducing the packaging materials and increased the share of recycled aluminium in each can to 63 percent.

To increase consumer recycling of our packaging, we have developed our own branded deposit bins and actively encourage plastic recycling via our own, and our ambassadors’, social media channels. At larger events, we have also established our own large deposit stations. These initiatives ensure that participants can always recycle our – and others’ – cans and bottles. At the same time, these efforts help to promote more responsible behaviour among our consumers.

NOCCO is best served chilled, directly from a cooler. We have ensured that the coolers we provide to retailers are energy-effecient and us low impact refrigerants (R600a and R290). We also ensure a long life-time for our coolers by having rigid service and repair scheduled.

Our long-term efforts also include the ingredients of our products, production efficiency, and ensuring that renewable energy is used both by our offices and our production. Together with our logistics partners, we have also taken several steps to reduce the footprint of our products in terms of transportation.

STANDARDS AND REPORTING – WE GOT YOU

We adhere to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and report annually to platforms such as CDP and EcoVadis. We have also taken decisive steps to prepare for the European Union’s upcoming Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), European Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and the Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive (PPWR). These efforts include a comprehensive materiality analysis and a gap analysis to evaluate which steps we can or need to take already now to ensure compliant reporting once the regulations come into force. We recognize that upcoming regulation will have huge impact on Vitamin Well and other European companies, and we prepare accordingly.

We strongly believe that a crucial enabler of our success is our ability to combine the values of our home market Sweden, with the best from the variety of cultures, experiences, and diverse backgrounds we represent together today. Our different aspects and backgrounds are great assets, and we shall continuously strive to create an inclusive workplace environment and business culture in which all our employees are treated with dignity, decency, and respect.

But our commitment to a fair and inclusive society also includes working through our value chain to ensure that our partners share and uphold our values. We also want our strong brand and ambassadors to be inclusive and inspiring to anyone. Last, but not least, we want to contribute to the fight against social exclusion, by promoting the social inclusion of sports.

THE SWEDISH 3X3 TOURNAMENT

NOCCO has supported the Swedish 3×3 Basketball Tour for several years now. With six stops across Sweden, the tour brings together players, fans, and communities in a fast-paced celebration of the game. The tournament 2025 saw close to 400 teams take part, and this summer might just top that.

NOCCO is also a proud partner to the Swedish Basketball Federation amd has a long-standing commitment to basketball, through partnerships with tournaments and support for rising talents like Bobi Klintman, championing performance and passion on and off the court.

nocco x battle cancer

NOCCO has been a proud partner of Battle Cancer for several years, in different forms and markets. In 2025, we were once again partner at Battle Cancer in Berlin. For every can of NOCCO purchased, visitors donated a free sum to the German Cancer Aid.

Beyond the fundraising, we were on site with the NOCCO Community and the NOCCO Coaches Club – providing energy and spreading the word across NOCCO’s social media.

GOVERNANCE AND COMPLIANCE

While we are rapidly expanding internationally. NOCCO is still very much a Swedish company, promoting Scandinavian values and business ethics. We comply with Swedish corporate law, including anti-corruption, privacy, anti-money laundering, harassment, health and safety, whistleblowing and more. Our products, packaging and marketing complies with all relevant EU, US and local legislation. For example, all vitamin and mineral claims that we use are based on the recommendations and regulation from the European Food and Safety Agency.

Our Partner Code of Conduct and its relevant sub-policies enforce the same demands and expectations on our partners within our value chain. Our ambition is to expand on this topic and continue to include a wider range of companies within our value chain.
