The Euro Hockey Tour returns to Helsinki as The NOCCO Hockey Games

27 August 2026: The Finnish Ice Hockey Association (FIHA) and NOCCO today announce that the home tournament of Finland’s men’s national team will be played from 5 to 8 November 2026 at Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki, under the name NOCCO Hockey Games. Part of the long-standing Euro Hockey Tour, the tournament features Finland, Sweden, Switzerland and Czechia.

The NOCCO Hockey Games bring the Lions back to Helsinki and Veikkaus Arena. The tournament continues the long tradition of the Men’s Euro Hockey Tour and will culminate with Finland facing Sweden on Sunday 8 November. The tournament is built around the fan experience: new content, events and experiences in and around the arena will make the tournament weekend about more than action on the ice.

VIP packages are already on sale, and general ticket sales begin on Thursday 10 September via Ticketmaster: https://www.ticketmaster.fi/artist/leijonat-lippuja/987748

“Bringing the Lions’ home tournament to Helsinki and Veikkaus Arena is a big moment for us. We want to build the NOCCO Hockey Games into an event people attend for the full tournament atmosphere, not just a single game. Together with NOCCO, we can tell the story of the tournament in a modern and engaging way, both on the ice and behind the scenes,” says Matti Vaininen, Commercial Director, Finnish Ice Hockey Association.

The NOCCO Hockey Games form part of the multi-year partnership between FIHA and NOCCO. As Official Main Partner of the Finnish men’s, women’s and U20 national teams, the partnership includes presence at events and games, branding on team uniforms and joint initiatives designed to engage the Finnish ice hockey community.

During the tournament, NOCCO will be visible across the arena, on the Finnish team jerseys and at centre ice, and a dedicated NOCCO trophy will be awarded to the tournament winner. Further details about tournament activations and the programme will be shared closer to the event.

“NOCCO loves ice hockey, and the NOCCO Hockey Games are a great way for us to bring that passion to life, both in Finland and internationally. We have strong communities in several ice hockey nations, and this tournament brings four of them together in Helsinki. We want to add excitement around the games and create more ways for fans to engage with the tournament, both in the arena and across our wider international hockey community,” says Elin Rosenholtz, Head of Marketing Finland, NOCCO.
